新宿文化センター通りの雀荘を改造したRed Cubeは、
不定期に美術や文化に関係するイベントを行っていく“ハコ”として活動してゆきたいと考えています。
“ハコ”を創るにあたって、 ARTや社会に対しての特別なメッセージやマニフェストはありません。
Non Initiativeにただ面白そうなことをゆるゆるとやっていきたいと思っています。
アートのみに限定せず、アートとその周辺のシャープな切り口や考えてみたい主題を扱った企画を、
毎回異なるインディペンデントキュレーターやアーティスト、ミュージシャン、
オルタナティブな活動を行っているグループ／個人、
料理人などとコラボレーションしていくことで実施していきます。
“アートとその周辺のもろもろ”と“世界”、そして“食”。
Red Cubeのこだわりはこの三つです。
知性と精神と体に美味しいハコを目指します。

The former mahjong playing room, Red Cube is "A BOX" where several events will be held casually.
There is no specific manifestation nor concept toward society and art world at all.
I just want to do something interesting and enjoyable without any intention.
These events can be artistic or non artistic but they need to have sharp edged concept.
 Each time Red Cube collaborate with different people like
 independent curator, artist, musician, chef and alternative artistic group / individuals.
Red Cube is particular over "art and its surroundings",  "the world" and "the food".
We aim to be a delicious box for our intelligence, our mind and our body.
